It’s Friday…

…and we have one more week of school before the holidays. What a busy time we’ve had and very glad to have a bonus week ahead for this term!

Please have a look at some of the pictures on this post to show some of the fun and learning in and around the school as we move towards the end of term 1. There’s been a lot of getting used to but we have settled into new routines and enjoying time together at school.

Over the past week, we have had a focus on personal challenge with health and well-being as well as learning about equity, as this has been Equity Week. At Monday’s assembly, pupils will showcase some of their learning in these areas to the rest of the school. We will then showcase this learning to the wider school community.

To celebrate our achievements, we are planning a health and well-being day on Thursday 8th October. There will be different activities in school and we’ll have some fun together. For this, your child can come to school dressed in sports wear for the day and even dressed as an athlete/sports person of their choice! It will be an interesting challenge to work out the sports personalities in our mix that day!

I hope you have a great weekend, and we look forward to seeing everyone back in again on Monday.
