Highland to mark International Workers’ Memorial Day

The Highland Council will mark International Workers’ Memorial Day tomorrow, Tuesday 28th April by observing the national one-minute silence at 11am.

On Workers’ Memorial Day we will remember those who have lost their lives at work, or from work-related injury and diseases.

This year, International Workers’ Memorial Day commemorates those who have lost their lives to Coronavirus.

While memorial events cannot take place due to COVID-19 – as public gatherings around the world are not advised or allowed – we will remember.
