Term 3 letter March 2020

Please also see below the latest update from the authority:

20 03 16 Schools – Coronavirus

The guidance contained in the most recent information from the authority received at the end of the school day today includes cancellation of all school trips. This means that sadly we will have to cancel the P7 trip to Craggan. This falls within the current guidance that:

ALL trips out of school planned for this and next term should be cancelled.

We are acutely aware how disappointing this news will be principally for our P7 year group but also for their families and the staff team who have been involved preparing and planning for this trip. The residential trip has become a highlight for P7 in past years and we have loved being able to see the children respond to the exciting challenges and opportunities that the residential experience has provided. We will certainly plan to provide an alternative experience at the school for their final term with us and more information about this will follow. All money paid towards the trip will be refunded in due course.

In addition, please be aware that school lets will also be cancelled adhering to the current guidance:

School lets outwith the normal school day should be cancelled until further notice.

Mindful of the many demands on the school during this fast-changing situation that we find ourselves in, I would be grateful for your patience and consideration as we manage the demands brought on by the necessary changes and continuing with the life of the school as usual. Thank you.
