World Book Day Thursday 5th March 2020

A reminder that next week is World Book Day and we are really excited about it! Our theme this year is Journeys and we are inviting everyone to come to school ‘dressed for travel’ on the day. Pupils will explore travel in lots of different ways – personal journeys, travel adventures and challenging migrations.

Please contact your child’s class teacher directly if you can spare any time at all to come in on Thursday and share a favourite story with the class. We would love to have you in with us on the day.

Also we will have a fab World Book day menu on Thursday…

The planned menu for Thursday (roast pork & gravy, cottage pie, cheese sandwich, fruit crumble and custard) will be for lunch on Tuesday instead.

Let’s celebrate a love of reading together this year with World Book Day 2020’s challenge to share a million stories!
