Baillie Cup news

MOL’s youngest athletes took to the track yesterday and in a very close contest came away in overall second place in Section 1 to Crown Primary. Every participating P1-4 tried their hardest and there was amazing teamwork and sportsmanship amongst all the boys and girls. It was a fantastic event with many medals to show for all the hard work. Well done to each and every one of our young athletes who took part, had fun and gave it their all in this competition. Thank you to team coaches Mrs Croall and Mrs Beaton for their time training and leading the team for the event. The pupils have loved the opportunity to train and participate in this athletics event. Thank you also to all the parents and family members who came along to support and cheer on the team. Finally, a huge thank you to MOL’s Parent Council who took on the job of catering for the Baillie Cup. The team worked non-stop to cater for the huge crowd during the day, with funds raised going to benefit all MOL pupils, so thank you on behalf of the whole school community for your time organising and running this significant fundraiser.
