Grounds Day 2 at MOL

Thank you to the parents, grandparents and Faith Works team who came to help out today with our Grounds Day 2 preparation for this term’s Bee Brilliant MOL in Bloom project. It was a busy day outdoors with weeding and tending to the raised beds, as well as varnishing picnic benches for outdoor use and giving the school bothy a good spring clean! Thank you also to Mrs Hearmon who came to lend a hand also – everyone’s support is very much appreciated. Soon most classes will have their raised beds planted and pupils will have hands on experience of growing plants and encouraging eco diversity, including bees, as part of MOL’s Bee Brilliant learning this term. Look out for news about the project as the term unfolds. Meantime, a big thank you once more for all the support again today – the weather was kind to us in the end with some warm afternoon sunshine to keep everyone going!
