Grounds Day 1

A huge thank you to the parents, grandparents and friends of the school from Inshes Church, Farquhar and the Faith Works team who came to help us on our first Grounds Day this week. The sun shone on us for most of the day, and pupils from all classes took to the courtyard to dig over their raised beds in preparation for our MOL in Bloom 2019 project, Bee Brilliant. We so much appreciate you lending us a helping hand and we’re sure you’ll agree the beds are looking near ready for planting!

It was also great to have Millburn pupils, including some ex-MOL pupils, at the school working with P6 on Science projects.

Grounds Day 2 is planned for April Thursday 25th; on this day we will continue with preparing the ground and planting outdoors. There will also be other outdoor playground projects including painting more benches for the class decking areas and organising planters in the playground. Again we would warmly welcome any time you can spare to lend a hand with us outdoors. Thank you!
