On Wed 20th March our school X-country teams headed to the Bught Park joining over 1000 other competitors, the biggest event of this kind in Scotland!

Our P2/3, P4/5 & P6/7 teams were all outstanding in every way, behaviour, support, sportsmanship, respect, and to top it off their amazing performances during extremely competitive races in windy conditions.

Out of 6 races, 4 of our teams medalled in the top 3! Our P4/5 boys & girls “Dream Teams” were outstanding and both took the overall trophy home alongside their Gold medals.

Out of 1074 athletes from 47 schools;

P2/3 Girls  Bronze overall

P2/3 Boys Silver overall

P4/5 Girls Gold overall

P4/5 Boys Gold overall

Still to get team results, but our P6/7s both narrowly missed out on the podium with their excellent performances.

We also had 4 individual medallists;

Caleb C P2/3 boys Silver

Isla B P4/5 girls Silver

Anya M P4/5 girls 4th

Dylan M P4/5 boys Silver

Great day, fantastic kids & parent helpers!

Amanda & Shirley (Coaches)
