MOL Science Week 2019

Science Week 2019 at MOL got off to a very exciting start with our science assembly this morning. Leading the assembly this morning were Dr RW MOL and Dr MS MOL who were testing how to make the best bubbles with help from the assembly rating the ‘live’ bubble making, and Dr RQ MOL who came and warned us all of the magical properties of the bubbles from the magical cauldron. After lots of excitement trying out the different wands for making bubbles at assembly, and seeing the amazing magical effects on Mr Quigley, all the children will now have a chance to let their imaginations take them on a fantastic creative whole school writing journey, powered by the magic of our MOL bubbles!

We will share some of the stories at the end of the week here so please keep an eye out for these in the coming days.

Science learning was evident around the school throughout the day with lots of curiosity and experimenting going on. Have a look at P2’s testing and P4/5’s amazing lava lamps: fantastic science in action – well done all!

Finally, some bubble making outdoors…
