Mud Kitchen – Help Required

As part of our playground development we would really love to build two or three Mud Kitchens. We have managed to source two or three old sinks to start them off but we require some more materials. If any parents, grandparents, friends or neighbours have any old pallets, bits of wood or old kitchen utensils that you no longer require we would make good use of them at school and any donations would be gratefully received!

Mud Kitchens enables pupils to play freely whilst developing problem solving skills, fine-motor skills, co-operation skills and much much more. They are really good fun!

We would also love if there were any parents or friends of the school who would be willing to come in and help us build the mud kitchens, particularly if you are a joiner or keen on DIY.

If you have any materials you’d like to donate or able to help us with our Mud Kitchen building project please get in touch with the school or e-mail Miss Hutcheson – rachel.hutcheson@highland.gov.uk

Thank you very much! 🙂
