Walk to School Week

Next week is Walk to School Week at Milton of Leys. Our Junior Road Safety Officers shared information about this at our assemblies this afternoon. Walk to School Week encourages children to be a bit more active and think about the environment by causing less air pollution when taking the car to school. It also makes our car park and roads near the school safer by reducing the number of cars. Please encourage your child to walk, scooter or bike to school. If you live far away and need to take a car, try to park at the car park at the shop and follow the red footprints to the school. Children will be rewarded for taking part in this challenge 😀
