MOL moments

We had a such an action packed end to the week today and would like to take a moment to thank the staff for all their hard work and the pupils for representing the school so fantastically! What a week!

Amongst other things, at MOL this week we had our first ever French assembly run by P4 and so well supported by parents, our MOL swim team won bronze in the highly competitive Inverness Swim Club’s competition, classes have continued to enjoy adventurous learning outdoors, pupils shared their learning at assembly including memorable magic e poetry and some very thoughtful Remembrance poetry, Millburn student teachers came to visit upper stages classes and of course the visit to MOL by the Scottish Parliamentary Presiding Officer, Ken Macintosh. The P6s were fantastic during the Q&A session, and the school’s digital leaders and MAD outdoor reps confidently explained the important work they are doing in the school. The Presiding Officer was most impressed! Well done also to our Head Boy and Head Girl who gave Mr Macintosh and his team a very informative tour of the school. Also well done to our entire Head Boy Girl team for their work preparing for assembly and presenting about the four nominated charities today.

We hope everyone has a wonderful, relaxing weekend and that parents enjoy sharing the learning records with their children. We very much look forward to seeing you at school next week for the parents’ meetings. As well as meeting with your child’s class teacher, there will be the opportunity to buy books from the Book Fair, purchase good quality second hand uniform, learn more about our proposed outdoor developments and vote for the charity of your choice as noted on the information that went home today. We look forward to seeing you then!😃
