Life at the Shieling

P7 have enjoyed a fantastic adventure overnight at the Shieling Project near Beauly. The visit has helped the children to have a much greater hands-on understanding of sustainability as well as providing a wonderful outdoor learning experience (including baking bread, making nettle bracelets, building bridges and dyeing wool with natural materials). They will have plenty of tales to share of their time away and we would like to say how proud we are of them representing the school on their first residential trip together as a year group. Well done P7, and thank you to the staff for giving their time to be away under canvas (and star light!) with the year group – next stop Craggan!
