P7 at Space Junk!

Primary 7 enjoyed a visit to the Skills Development Scotland (SDS) base in town today as part of their Skills for Work topic. They were learning about the STEM industry and took part in the Space Junk workshop. This included learning all about satellites orbiting the Earth and then programming their own robot satellites! The technology P7 engaged with was amazing and they all did brilliantly, building on their coding and programming skills from sessions at the UHI last year.

Check out how they managed to use their programming skills to make 2 satellite robots orbit the Earth in different directions and speeds!
