Baxters 5k 29th September

I have been asked by one of our super fit parents, Vikki MacDonald, to promote the above event and to let all parents (and children) know that it is not too late to enter this race at the end of September. The following is the information that Vikki received from the organisers and if you would like to enter or wish more information, please contact Vikki on: vikmacdonald@btinternet.com

All schools, youth / sports clubs and disability groups are eligible to enter groups / teams into the River Ness 5K Fun Run and receive reduced entry fees of £8 for each participant (standard entry fee £11). The 5K Fun Run is a great opportunity to raise awareness and fundraise for your organisation.

Please find attached the following information: –

  • Guidelines to entering your team online – your unique code is MOLP
  • Entry form, to be used by team coordinator to make sure you have the correct information from your participants to enter their details online, and must be signed by each participant or parent / carer for children under 16

All schools and organisations are asked to nominate a team coordinator to administrate their entries and enter their runners online. Please note the entry closing date is Monday 9th September at the latest. Although we take a limited number of 5K entries over race weekend, we regret that we are not able to offer reduced team entry over the race weekend.

We are looking into whether the group booking can be made over several stages, so I will hopefully have an update for you on this by early next week.

Don’t forget we also have the Wee Nessie for pre-school children aged 5 and under, taking place on the same day, which is a short loop around Bught Park, More information on our website: www.lochnessmarathon.com
