Internet Safety Update

As you will be aware, we plan to hold an Internet Safety Information Session for all parents, on Wed 8th May @ 7pm at the school. This will provide you with the most updated information on developments within the world of e-safety as well as allowing you to see some of the teaching material that is used within MOL. Some of the video clips are of a sensitive nature so we therefore ask that if you feel you would like your child to attend, this would only be appropriate for pupils in P6 or P7. We will be providing a variety of resources for you to take away with you as well as giving you the opportunity to ask any questions regarding this vitally important area of everyday life.

I am also providing details of an upcoming event at Smithon and Culloden, Free Church on Thu 16th May between 2-4pm. This is being run by an organisation called ‘E-Safety Live’ who will be giving an update on both local and national developments within this area. This session is aimed primarily at those folk working with children but I have been told that this could include any leaders of groups such as Brownies, Rainbows, Scouts, Cubs, Sunday Schools etc…
