Mental Maths Games Info Sessions….What Did you Think?

Just a wee post to ask for any comments or feedback on the recent two Mental Maths Games sessions that took place last week (Mon afternoon and Thu evening) which were organised by Miss Bate and a wide range of enthusiastic, skilled and talented pupils from P4-7!

We would be very grateful for any comments or feedback about how effective or useful you found these sessions as well as any feedback on how you are getting on with the games!

  1. The maths games were great fun. The kids involved taught them very well. The time allocated for most were perhaps too long and then we might have got through them all. We’ve already enjoyed playing some at home and with grandma and grandad. Only negative was I thought my child / children were going to join me in playing them.

  2. We thought the Marvellous maths sessions were really good fun! Very well done to all the children who demonstrated the games so well and taught us how to play! I’m! sure that we will be able to use these games to improve ALL our mental maths, well done

  3. We thought the session in the evening was well organised and the children are a credit to the school. We were told we would be getting math packs home with the kids but p1/2 haven’t recieved this yet. Would be great to get it soon. Eilidh has been really enjoying playing some of the games but it would be good to get the pack as I can’t remember all the games.
