Inverness Music Festival Update

Over the past few days, a number of pupils with connections to MOL have taken part in the annual Inverness Music Festival. As you would expect, lots and lots of good news stories to share:

The following pupils took part individually and scored superbly….

Marsailli M-83 (Merit) in Piano

Rachel U-84 (Commended) in Cello

Amy S-82 (Merit) in Piano

Louis G-83 (Merit) in Cello

Abby K-82 (Merit) in Cello

Mrs Fraser’s P4/5 class wooed the judges with their funky recorder playing and scored a ‘distinction’ gaining 88 points and were so impressive that they were asked to play their piece, “Great Balls of Fire”, again!

On Saturday, Mrs Brown’s girls, brought home the Scottish Country Dancing trophy for the second year running with an excellent 81 which earned them a ‘Merit’.

I am SOOO proud of all our super stars and I am certain that we will have more good news in the coming days as other choirs and classes have their moment of fame! Well done and good luck!
