The following is a message from Lesley Gordon from the Parent Council who has worked tirelessly to ensure that the school puts re-cycling at the very forefront. I will take this opportunity to publicly thank her for the work she has put in…it is very much appreciated!

We have now raised over £1,000 through the Rag Bag recycling scheme thanks to all your amazing textile donations deposited in the outdoor recycling bin.  The outdoor bin will remain outside the school for you to keep filling up!  The scheme has been so successful so we thought we would try new recycling schemes to raise further funds for the school whilst doing our bit for the environment.  We are able to raise funds from recycling books, used printer cartridges and mobile phones.  Please bring in any of these unwanted items to the school  where there will be a box to deposit them just outside the reception desk.

Alternatively, bringing them along to the Summer Fayre where recycling boxes will be on display!
