Blythswood Shoe Box Appeal

A number of pupils from Milton of Leys Primary recently got involved in the Blysthwood Box appeal and on Monday (28th Nov), the van arrived at school to pick up the boxes that were filled. Here are a few photos of some of the children involved!

One of the pupils involved, Lauren (P5/6) explained:

“I thought it was a great idea because some boys and girls don’t have things and when it comes to christmas day they don’t get anything like us. All the boxes got sent to Romania and then at Christmas boys and girls will get equally shared out presents. I felt really proud for doing all what we did.”

Well done for once again putting others first and making a real difference in other children’s lives.

  1. Well Done boys and girls! It’s so nice that you are able to think of others less fortunate than yourselves at this time of year.
