Christmas Fayre Success!

On Saturday, the Parent Council held its first Christmas Fayre between 10am and 4pm. The general feeling is that it was a resounding success and certainly the school’s stall was buzzing throughout the day!

All the classes had made a variety of Christmas gifts, most of which were sold out by the end of the day. Many of the classes intend to use their profit to ‘buy’ additional features for their class blog including the ability to upload video and sound clips and this will certainly be able to happen now.

There was a lovely atmosphere throughout the day which was created by the steady flow of people wandering around the many stalls and huge thanks must go to the Parent Council and all the parent volunteers who gave up large chunks of their weekend. Special commendation to those who helped out in the Children’s Crafts Area in the Community Dance Studio….it was all go in there!

Who said Christmas starts in December?!!

  1. The Christmas gifts each of the children had made in class where lovely – what a work they’d put in and such clever ideas! I’ve got the most unique Christmas wrap this year!

  2. I thought I’d share with you an email I received from one of Saturday’s Christmas Fayre stall holders – it’s great to have recevied such a lovely comment – we should all be very proud!

    “Hi Nicola

I am writing to say what a great Fayre you and your colleagues put on yesterday.

I really enjoyed it, everyone was really nice and the atmosphere was good just what we need in this area.

I would be glad to come to any other events you may be having next year.

    Thanks again.
