The BIG day finally arrives…the school is handed over!!!

After over twelve months of waiting….our lovely new school is finally finished! Tomorrow (Mon 11th July) is the day that we will finally get the  keys to the building and Morrisons Construction will depart the site, leaving Milton of Leys Primary School in the council’s hands. The official ‘handover’ will take place tomorrow (Mon 11th) at 9.30am and there will be a photoshoot taking place at midday to mark the occasion. In addition, this historic event will be featured on Radio Highland’s news broadcasts throughout the day.

Then the fun really begins….the first delivery of furniture should arrive early on Tuesday morning followed by a couple of hundred more boxes full of goodies!

On behalf of all the pupils, staff and parents,  I would like to say a huge thank you to Brian Bremner (Site Manager) and the entire Morrisons’ team as well as the sub-contractors, who have helped build our incredible new school!
