Open Meeting-Tue 29th March @ Inshes Church (6.30pm)

At our last Parent Council meeting, it was agreed that an ‘Open Meeting’ will be held at Inshes Church on Tuesday 29th March at 6.30pm. This meeting is for ALL parents of pupils who will be starting at the school in August. The agenda for this meeting is being finalised but will be posted on the blog very soon.

At this meeting, there will be a chance for parents and pupils to help choose the colours of the school’s polo shirts, as well as seeing what other items will be available as part of the school uniform. A representative from Highland Schoolwear will be attending and can answer any questions about the ordering process.

Some of the ‘soon-to-be’ Milton of Leys Pupils will model the uniform colours and some of the sweatshirts and polo shirts will include the final designs for the school badge competition, for which parents and pupils will be asked to vote on a winner.

It is hoped that there will be representatives from Highland Council Education Department, the architects involved in designing the school, a member of Early Education and Child Care as well as myself and other members of the Parent Council.

We hope to see as many parents as possible and this will be an ideal chance to come along and get an update on the progress of the school and also to ask any burning questions that you might have.

A creche facility will be available (numbers are required in advance so watch out for ‘booking’ forms) as well as light refreshments.

An advert will be appearing in the Inverness Courier to promote this event but please tell other parents who might not yet know about this date.

If you have any questions that you would like to raise at this meeting that you think may require some ‘preparation’, please leave them in the form of a ‘comment’ so that I can make sure this topic is covered during the meeting.

I look forward to meeting you at this event!
